Welcome!
I'm glad you found me here along the Scenic River Route in
Wisconsin. My name is Maryanne Coronna and I began the journey
into a writing life 12 years ago. After earning a B.A. in journalism, I
joined the editorial staff at Minnesota Monthly magazine. From
there, I established a freelance business, and in 2004 earned a
Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at Hamline University.
When I'm not writing or teaching writing &
literature, my husband Mark and I are busy
nurturing a humble vineyard and orchard on the
Mississippi River (Lake Pepin to be exact), in Stockholm.

The written word is weak. Many people prefer life to it.
Life gets your blood going, and it smells good...This writing
